Flixya video sharing site that pays

Flixya is a new video sharing site that allows you to receive shared revenue through adsense.
It also has a points system and some of the rewards are pretty cool need a hell of a lot of points though, the top reward is a lap top which you need to accumulate 600,000 points to receive.

The thing about this site is you don't upload videos, you find videos on sites such as youtube and vidilife, places with embed codes and submit those. They in turn place adsense ads around the video with half of them with your adsense code in them.

I've been trying to find out if any ones had any success with this or any troubles with it but haven't really found much. Does google allow this? Will it work? Will it beat sites like Revver and eefoof?

The sites fast for me and easy to navigate, check it out Flixya

If you have had any experience with this service please comment.

Flixya violates Adsense TOS. Be warned. Do not use their service, or you will probably lose your Adsense Account!

Thanks for the feedback, I contacted flixya about a week ago asking them about this but haven't recieved a reply.

wait, i dont' get it.

So i can go on you tube and grab the embed code for any video (regardless who owns the content), upload it to flixya and profit from it?

Um, sounds like a lawsuit in the making.

Yep that's the idea but I don't see how it's any different from getting a Youtube video and putting it on a blog with adsense. Youtube probably should have thought of something like this. The thing with Flixya is that I have asked them if they have had any input from adsense and they haven't answered me. So I'm taking the first commenters advice and waiting to see how things play out.

The person that submits the video can get a monthly check from adsense for the profits they earn on someone elses video. My question s what is going to happen when the owner finds out you are getting profits from their videos?

First,
You submit someone elses video (without them knowning) and follow the instructions to register.

Register with Flixya.
You will need a Google Adsense account to participate in the Revenue Share Program (If you already have an Adsense accounts - you simply copy/paste the publisher ID in the box - see screenshot). Please note: Google has added IP tracking to deter click fraud. Any account that violates the Google Adsense TOS will be terminated. You can register with Google Adsense below (if you don’t have your own website url, you can use www.flixya.com*):
Start sharing your videos from Youtube, Google Video, Daily Motion, and other video sharing sites. Our revenue share program is split 50-50. You will make 50% of the Google Adsense revenue generated by the videos you submit. The more traffic your video drives, the more ads will be displayed, and the more money you will make.
Don’t forget members can also accumulate points for promoting the site to your friends, sharing videos, and posting comments. When a new member registers from your referral - you earn 15 points. Points can be exchanged for cool prizes. More information about Flixya’s Rewards Program.
Flixya is the only website that pays you 50% revenue, offers a generous rewards program, and gives back to the community*. Share your online videos today and start rewarding yourself! Join Today.

Did a google of flixya and google and it seems he issue is still kind of up in the air. Read some stories of people getting banned and some of people having no trouble so far.

On another note Revver lists flixya as one of the places that you could possibly distribute videos to, I'm still trying to get to grips with Revvers new 1.0 and I'm still a little hazzy on the affiliate part of it. Righ now I'm using Revver to redistribute others videos, I see no problem as the more their video is seen the more they money they make so I'm sure copyright issues shouldn't be to much of an issue but I could be totally wrong.

Flixya allows for video uploading now. I wonder how it pans out.

As for making money off youtube videos, that is completely legitimate. How is it any different than squidoo or sites like videosift? Or the other thousands of blogs with adsense and embedded youtube videos.

Once youtube switches on ads, its a win win. Going to try out Flixya...

I've given up on flixya and I am now waiting for google to do something with youtube, i hear do planing on doing some sought of rev share with it. As for revver, I figure if you have a popular video on there you will make a good amount of cash with it, I've uploaded 2 videos there and have had about 20 views between them and have made $2.

They don't violate the adsense tos. the only way you will lose your adsense account is if you click on your own ads dumbass. As for making money -- it all depends on how you distribute the videos. You can also upload too.

This doesn't violate adsense TOS, however it does violate youtube TOS. You are allowed to embed and even link videos only for personal, non commercial purpose!
There is a another project, a "wikipedia of youtube", a nice index of videos created by the users. It's called http://www.indextube.com

Flixya is a good revenue making source thru adsense however they will delete your account quickly if u submit explicit adult content.
you can try and contact them wondering why account was closed but they will never respond.

Revenue sharing sites are great, usually I see file sharing website using this tactic. Then I saw DigitalPoint doing that and now the video sharing sites are coming, which means phenomenon is growing.
